Is FRN used by Spyderco uv-protected?

Polymer in guns is uv-protected. How about FRN in knife? If it have not why? Nylon will eventually become brittle in uv-light. I hope you did understand my english.

Hi Matti. Welcome to the Spyderco forum.

We've not had a problem with UV in our FRN knives. They do get brittle at 60 degrees (F) below 0.

Any of the FRN Spyderco knives, from my experience could probably handle everything short of nuclear war!!:barf:
