Hi,

I posted earlier asking if anyone had an ACTIVE email address for GT Knives. I searched around for one and found a couple but the emails came back as underliverable.

The previous post only got one response from someone who said he thinks they are out of the business.

I have one of the first knives they made, a GT mini auto. http://www.bestknives.com/gtknivminaut.html

It's at least 1o years old, probably more. I keep it on my keychain and it gets used a lot. Just recently it has developed some blade wobble and I want to get it fixed.

If they really are out of business, does anyone have any idea who might do a little repair work on it for me?

I own own more than a few knives, most are excellent quality and this little mini auto is my favorite. You know how you get attached to a particular kinfe? Well this one and I go way back and I want to make it perfect again.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

GT Knives is out of business, has been since about 2002 or so.

I used to work for them. You can send it to me, and I can go see Todd Jones, the "T" of GT, and see what parts he has lying around. If it is just adjustment, STR is more than capeable, but the parts of the mechanism are specialized.

There were only two basic models of GT knives by the way, the full size, and the mini.
