I'm sure most of you have seen the Strider artical in the Handgunner Tactical 2002 Annual. My question is about the picture in the upper left corner of page 40. Caption says its a BT,WB, and WBmod10. The smaller black handled knife looks like a shorter BT. Does anyone know if this is the case? I would love to get the BT in a slightly shorter model. Is this an option, or would this be considered a custom deal?
If ordered through Strider, does anyone know if you can pick to have the slant on the but put as a thumb place for reverse grip, and is kydex an option for a sheath? I'm trying to decide on a med. lenth fixed blade for utility/combat. I like the EB-T, but a short BT might be better. Any input is welcome. Thanks SOX

You probably should get in touch with Vinnie. He has some of those coming in REAL soon. They will dissappear so quick your head will spin. Get in while you can. That was the second Strider I owned. The best one for me, I think, so far. Custom's aside. Really good all around package. Vinnie will hook you up.
 
Thanks. I'm saving up, so this will probably be a delayed purchase. Could you tell me the overall lenth? Does th WB.MOD10 come with a SOE holster, or kydex? Thanks for the info, I want them ALLLLL, but will have to find what best suits my real needs. SOX
 
Mine was somewhere between 10 to 10.5 inches overall. Came with an SOE sheath. My guess is that they haven't changed. Email Vince, maybe he'll work something out, or start a payment deal for the next time around. All he can say is no. Either way, it's a knife worth having.

Lol, you must've made at least one then! Hope it didn't end up in the trash, someone would pay for a one-of-a-kind funny looking Strider :p
