Is it a fake?

Bought a knife off E-bay and can't find anything on it.It's a trapper with amber jigged bone handles. The clip blade tang Case Bros. cutlery Co. with
xx xxx. There is also a long-tailed C with 1st run and xx etched on the blade. The Spey blade has a USA 6254 SS. It came in a Case Brothers tin with warranty but I cannot find anything the knife. Any thoughts?

Jared, sounds like a #164 (a 6254 Trapper in SS). Does it have any dots, or just five X's?

Five X's is 2005, Case did do some knives with a revival of the Case Bros. Cutlery tangstamp recently, I had a Stockman from that series.
