This came in the mail today and it is over 1" longer than my old Hartsook. Is it fake?

I gotta say fake, the arrow date code is just wrong. Everything is just a little wrong
 
If you look at the sellers feedback you will notice they got a neutral for that very same knife sold on March 4th.
 
I have a 2010. It is not stamped but etched. It's like the one on the right. That other one is very strange. Can't imagine Buck made that many changes to it.
 
If the OP can advise......it would be interesting to know what the seller had to say by way of explanation.

I haven't contacted the seller yet, want to know what everyone here thought first. Hate to call someone a cheat if the knife is the real deal.

I'm hoping that someone from Buck will way in on this. If Buck hasn't made the 860 bigger then it is fake.

BTW the size is more to my liking.
 
Seller probably doesn't know it's a fake.

There are so many around......many of the sellers are probably totally unaware.
 
definately fake theres a youtube vid. the release button is just like glues on instead of screwed on like the real one its too big, the cord is just cheap string, there is no clip on the real sheath, the real sheath is plastic and not rubberize and there is no small wistle on the real sheath
