It's my 40th Birthday today and feel alittle old

but on the good side,I am 40 years old married with to kids and my wife let me be a full time Bladesmith.So I get to make knives on my birthday which I love doing.Thanks to everyone here for all the good advice and encouragement in this buisness.I just wanted to tell someone,so thanks for listening.......Bruce

I dreaded reaching 40, after that I was thankful for eveyday after, still am.

the Best part of being 40 is when talking to someone that is 20 or so, discussing life and your age comes up. You can tell them I have underwear older than you.

Happy birthday Bruce! I've got 40 coming up in two years. Something tells me we all get more aware of time the older we get, I wish I had started knifemaking many years ago when I had more energy and fewer responsibilites! -Guy Thomas
