Is it a nightmare? I guess not. But, I'm guessing more people would look at the Pharaoh and think Strider, than think Elishewitz.

I can't wait to see a CS version.

Here's my Strider Nightmare.

the grind definitely resembles the nightmare, but the rest of that knife is pure elilshewitz.

I'm not so sure the nightmare grind wasn't done earlier in the 90's by a custom maker. It's not all that exclusive to Strider. The Tom Brown Tracker falls in the same genre to me. Double grinds on one blade with the back half thinner, Extrema Ratio, too. It probably doesn't make much difference if it materially changes the edge angle, I see it as largely cosmetic, i.e., styling, and the blade is only as strong as the thinnest cross section.

I look at the CRKT and think CRKT. I don't even begin to see Elilshewitz, which is more a statement of how much of his work gets pics posted where I see them.
