Or did I just get training wheels?

I got a headblade sport model for shaving my big old noggin. Are these worth having or did I just buy a hotwheels car with a razorblade attached to it?

I don't know about that one, can you change out the wheels to get a custom look:p

Seriously though, I think the blade are a bit expensive, like any other cartridge razor, but if you think it will work for you then its worth the try. There are some people that use DE razors to shave their head, but I think they are just a little daring. I think if I ever decided to start shaving my head I would just go with a cheap disposable twin blade razor.

I used to use a Schick Tracer FX just for my head. It has flexible cartridges and seemed to help prevent nicks and rash. I dunno if they're still in stores but it might be a good alternative if your racecar doesn't work out. The blades last a long time if you don't have thick hair.
;)

Well after tearing my head up with one of those 5 bladed new fangled things I gave the headblade sport a go. Mine is the triple blade, and honestly, it's not too bad and I can get my head done in about 5 minutes. The bad thing is sometimes I noticed that I have a few stripes here and there, but I'm thinking that it is just from rushing.

now only if I stop making car noises when I shave.

I use a a headblade sport and it works well for my overly egg shaped noggin. The stripes go away once you are used to the track. Watch out for corners and definitely avoid any hairpin maneuvers. As long as you have stripes and not skid marks it is probably okay to keep making car noises, just avoid squealing the tires in the corners.

I used one for about two years and was real happy with it. I also used their shave lotion with menthol and post shave cream (I don't like the polished and buffed head look ;) ). It was kind of tricky to use at first, but once I got used to it, it was really fast and very easy. I would always run my fingers over the shaved areas to make sure there were no stripes. ;) :D It's a lot easier to hang onto than any other razors that I tried.

I went from that to just buzzing it with clippers. It gets damn near as close, and with much less chance of red bumps and infected hairs.

I still use their shaving lotion for my face. :)
