Is it fake Sebenza?

Hi, I just got a Unique Graphic Large Sebenza from ebay.

There is a "S" engraved on them near the pivot hole, so I think its blade should be S30V. However it's certificate shows "BG42" for this Sebenza.

There is no any mark inside Ti handle. This is my 10th Sebenza. My other Sebenza always have "02","00" or others inside the Ti handle.

I was confused and looking for advise from you. What do you think about this Sebenza?

Best Regards,

I assume the "s" is on the blade, not the handle. This would be an indication of an S30V blade, and there is always a chance that the owner had a new blade put on the knife. The lack of a lot number on the handle is a concern, though.

Would you mind posting a link to the ebay auction?

stjames,

I had sent the link via e-mail instead of post here.

Got the link, she sure looks genuine, nice graphic as well. The markings (and lack thereof) are a mystery, but if it is a replica it is very, very well done.

Just receive e-mail from Anne of CRK as below. It's great and make me comfortable.

"you can be sure that it is a CRK Sebenza and not an imitation. It does not matter whether there is a batch number or not, it has no relevance to the value of the knife or its authenticity."
