  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

To replace my plastic (Bakelite) handles with wood ones? After achieving a sharp razor with a new compounded stropping technique, I want to scrap the handles. I think they're cheesy! Any reason not to?

It's you razor. Put the handle that you want on it. Everything works better when it looks good to you.

Absolutely not! I modify a lot of my razors. This razor came with a plain black mono-slab that I thought would be nice, but it bored me to sleep. I have done a few others also, if you are interested in some photos and such check out the link in my sig.
