Is it just me, or are there seeming to be a lot of threads of people SWEATING the minutia???? I think it's great to ask questions, and there are a lot of great and learned folks here with lots of experience that will willing share their experience here on the forum. I'm wondering about folks who are genuinely questioning wether their CRK will open a box, or cut an apple, I know there are hard use guys out there, but we will trust our lives to a pilot we never met, but we know more about Chris Reeves history/experience/and philosophy than he's probably comfortable with. I think if you have an issue with a CRK , Chris will address it, if you're still not happy get rid of the knife.Bart

These are usually new guy questions. For many 1st timers it is the biggest knife purchase of their lives, by far. They aren't sure what to expect and don't want to spend a lot and then be disappointed. Before my 1st CRK purchase(which was my 1st high end knife) I read every thread out there (I didn't post back then so I didn't ask any questions). Once they have the knife in hand I think they settle down with the confidence it will serve them well. Once they have an opportunity to talk to Heather or anyone in customer service they know they will be taken care of there also if the need arises.
There is nothing to worry about, but only experience will teach you that
