Is it just me -- part III

My WebTV system works different than a regular computer so I can't really say this morning. Things are loading as good or a bit better for me this morning.

When Terry & Sandi were over the other day he was pretty impressed with the format this unit has.
All I have to do to get from thread to thread is hit my back button and then click onto the next thread I want to read.
Posting is much the same. Post, and when the page comes up, hit the back button twice and you're back into the thread, hit it once more and you're back into the complete list of threads.
And when the forum is at its best I can zip rings around a real computer.

However a spell checker on All the forums would be a nice feature "fer" me.

As "around" has an "o" in it.

Bill--pleased to say that, at this moment at least, the system seems to be running slicker than deer guts on a doorknob. Those slowdowns seem to come and go pretty quickly of late. -- Jance

The ability to access the forum has been extremely slow, at times even resulting in a server timeout.

It is only getting into the forum itself and not the bladeforums.com website. I think this means the problem is with their server.

It only happens from time to time, but when it does, it looks like the forums are locked out, at least on CompuServe.

I wonder if part of the problem is the amount of posts in the forum?
It's at 14,850+ posts now.

If is gets any slower, I'm gonna have to get Mohd to teach me a whole new set of expressions in his language.
 
I am on a T-1 connection at work and it is working pretty fast for me. (Also, a Pentium III with 256 Megs of RAM doesn't hurt, either).

I nearly didn't make it. Half or 3/4 hour before I did.
 
Don't know if it's a coincidence but after I signed up with the forum today its like beeing stuck in fudge. It was not like this the minutes before i signed up....
