  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Or does anyone else find themselves planning meals around things that need cut up when they buy a new knife :D

Not really, but I do find myself looking around for nice size sticks to whittle on every time I'm taking a walk

Yesterday I totally did! Got a Becker BK15 in the mail and though "Hey, I really should make that Turkey soup that I've been planning to for days".

When I get a new knife, I normally test it out on food and whittling/carving. So, sometimes I do plan special/fancy meals around getting a new knife.
