Or has this Forum been a little... light with comments from CRK?

I know they must be very busy, but is this forum to have any official presence?:(

Before anyone says anything, they are great people at CRK and the knives kick butt! It just seems such a shame considering how active other knife makers etc are on the forums. Hope I don't offend anyone. I just miss the words of wisdom and insight. Also the number of threads recently that cry out for official word to prevent runaway threads...:(

Not every post deserves an official response.... kinda like a your darned if you do and darned if you don't... some people seem to not accept any response that is given anyway... If they answer one way the response is "sure they have to say that" or "well we want to know the exact reason why the "innie" is better than "the outie" when the tempeture is 78.2 degrees and I am holding an apple". As far as the "runaway" threads are concerned, sometimes the bigger man does stand back and say nothing, especially when he is right... and of course sometimes they are just busy.... :D

while I am at it I would also point out that the topics and threads that do not paint the perfect picture are left here. I have personally had posts deleted for asking questions and posting pictures of proof of my questions on other forums or making jest of a topic sensitive to the manufacturer and I know for a fact I am not the only one. The posts here that do "run away" tend to die- I mean it does take two to fight and Chris is a bigger man than you may realize. Don't think that the company does not see the questions or does not care- they do care more than just to the tune of dollars and more than you would know or maybe believe. I believe Chris does research things and even though he does not share all of his thoughts to a degree that would satisfy all who question him or other makers who may think this or that would be better for a sebenza I have but a couple of questions .... How different would things be if Chris Reeve actually had the money and the time to wait for the patent on the framelock instead of trying to put food on his families table? and why did they not invent it first instead of just using it for thier knives just because it was/is fair game  ....? Now please don't take that as a crack to all those who do make framelocks for not all have to knock CRK to sell thier stuff and some are also made by guys who really care and do a good job too- some hawian and an ohioan come too mind .... :D

Not every response from the maker has to turn into a tit for tat argument. Heck...I used to lurk in the Camillus forum just because it was so cool seeing Will Fennell posting all the time and I don't even have a Camillus knife. Almost got me to buy an EDC and I don't even like the looks of them that much.

I do wish we would get more comments from the Sebenza God himself. But I guess since we have Raindrop here he seems to be taking over as the official spokesman for Sebenza/CRK.:D Hey..Raindrop do they have you on the CRK payroll yet. ;) I am sure they would gladely pay you in knives. Or are you so in debt to them already that you are working for free. :D

One of the beauties of CRK products is that, well, there ain't a lot wrong with them! Certainly company participation has seemed light as of late, but then again, what's to be said? Silence speaks volumes. :)

On another note, I am consistently amazed by the fact that CRK has been able to fill increasing orders with the same level of quality that they always have. Most impressive! Not a lot of other manufacturers of ANYTHING that maintain this level of consistency-in-quality! Hat's off!

Professor.
