Is it just me, or does the kershaw offset & the spyderco captain remind you of a folding tom brown trakker?

Cool designs, they look super-heavy-duty.
 
I can see a slight similarity in the shape of the blades but I don't think it's something the average person would notice. A note on the Captain-I usually like the quirky designs of Spyderco but I can't decide whether I like it or hate it. :D (one things for sure, the Captain is a brute of a knife)

Actually, I've noticed that design shape becoming more popular.

DDR offers the basic shape, as do others, also.

It should prove to be a practical cutter for many applications IMO.
 
I like the look of the Captain, and plan on getting one. And because it is a Spyderco, I know it will feel good in the hand, even though the handle looks odd.
