Is it legal for minors to purchase knifes in CA?

Is it legal for minors, people less than 21 years old, to purchase knifes in CA?

I'm a responsible 16 years old person and I'm wondering if I could legally purchase a legal folding knife.

My guess would be yes, because I'm pretty sure I could buy a large kitchen knife legally if I wish, but I just want to make sure.

Sorry, kinda late, but...

Well, from my experience, if you carry yourself in a respectable manner, I doubt you'll have issues. Talk to the knife store employees, ask them about the knives, make your purchase.

However, most stores do have a policy against buyers under 18...watch out.

well, its kind of late too...
I have purchased several small folding knives and the store owners didn't gave me a strange look or anything. I guess its because I don't look very threatening or naive.
