I own a Boker Kalashnikov. I know about the "valid reason" laws in Italy and Europe in general, but I know there is, or at least used to be, a further discrimination towards automatic knives and knives with double edges. The Kalashnikov is automatic, but it does have a swedge. Do swedges count as double edges? Even if you can't cut anything with it? And is this prohibition towards automatic knives still there in Italy? This is all taking for granted that I obviously have a valid reason, for instance I'm camping/hiking and I'm carrying this knife.
