I've posted several pictures of the inner workings of knives in the past,(Ken Onion/Kershaw Speed Safe,Benchmade AFO Plunge Button Auto, and maybe one other.

I've always believed that I had that right as the owner of the knife, I've never signed any proprietary agreement with anyone, but do I really have the legal right to post pictures like that?

I'll keep posting them as i take my knives apart until I hear otherwise.

Next up on the cutting board will be SAT (Sog Assisted Technology) on a SOG Twitch 1, due out by the weeks end.

I don't see a problem with posting pictures of knives you own. If anything, the companys should be happy with all the free advertising you're giving them.

Some companies may not like it, but what you're doing is no different than say seaching a patent drawing online.

Keep doing it, I see nothing wrong with it.

I'm not sure of the legal aspects, but I'd love to see the inner workings of the Cuda Dominator (Robo-Power). ;)

When I can get one, it's on my list of knives to buy.
