Aren't we seeing a posting rash of knocks on Busse Combat lately, about things which could easily be resolved with a telephone call?

I bought my first Busse in 1994, and since then I have had exactly one problem, which was addressed by a phone call from the man himself and was handled to my complete satisfaction and beyond. I wish that most of the other businesses I deal with had established that kind of record.

You're absolutely right.

Here are general Busse disclaimers:

1.) Shipping may take a couple more weeks than expected. Expect it; then, when they arrive a bit sooner, all the cooler :D

2.) Busse has some issues with email...they may not all get answered.

3.) Military comes first. End of story.

Bottom line: call the shop!!! Call call call!! You might even get to hear the Babe's sweet voice! Or Jerry :barf: :D

They will fix you up and more!

There are always people who will never be satisfied, and there are always people who--rather than seek to resolve a problem by the most accepted method--will seek to resolve said problem by the method which requires the least concious thought on their part. To those merely acquainted with Busse Combat, the forum here is the most simple way to contact the shop. Not the most proper, but the one that requires the least amount of thought.

You'll also note that the people who have been knockin Busse aren't members of the regular crowd. They're people who have ordered their first one, people who have seldom used the blade yet. The kind of person who hears "Busse makes a solid knife" so they go to the website, buy one, and move on.

Nobody attains the level of popularity Busse has without attracting a little bit of flak. What's most remarkable is how well the people who knock Busse are treated by both the members of the forum and those associated with Busse Combat. We don't have chips on our shoulders or anything to prove--our knives consistently provide all the proof we need. A quick jaunt around a couple of other manufacturers' forums shows me topics posted by regulars in whatever particular forum about one of their blades of choice failing to perform as expected. I only know of one person--Cliff Stamp--who has managed to break a Busse, and that was only through two years of prolonged use much harder than any person who would be forced to call upon their blade on a regular basis could have put it through.
