Is it normal to find chips of metal on your knife

Well i was cutting some string long story short i knicked a piece of metal and i checked my edge and i thought it rolled but i brushed it off and bam! it was the other metal im impresed as this or somthing like this ever happend to you.

I think he is saying that he is suprised that his INFI cut another piece of metal....this is something we have known here for sometime:thumbup:
