Is it odd?

I don't know what you people are doing, but I am procrastinating. I have a closet full of presents to wrap, and I haven't even looked to see if I have enough tape. I guess I can check that right now...yup, looks like a full role. I will check out the wrapping paper situation just before dinner, then after I stuff my fat face I will sit around for a couple hours pretending to be too full to do anything yet. That probably means getting back to the Internet. I figure around 10:00 I will look for a dirty and/or violent movie on TV to watch while I start wrapping stuff.

Our stuff is wrapped and under the tree. Our kids will show up in the morning to wreck our house. We have 10 grandkids. :D

Don't get my kids until tomorrow....that means tonight, I'll see the g/f, drink a beerortwelve, wrap gifts, listen to Christmas music, and fight off depression until tomorrow.

I wrapped so many presents I got all tired out and needed to sit down and rest for a while. I'm wrapping them in aluminum foil this year -- it's quite a shiny pile.

I am resurfacing my sharpening blocks with different grits of sandpaper. It calms my nerves before the blast wave hits tomorrow.

Wait until tomorrow about this time. After hours with relatives and sugared up kids, all 20K members of BF will be on here posting drunk.

I just put some brews in the freezer. In about an hour and a half they will be prime for pain killing.:D

Why Not. Good friends and "conversation".

Actually, the turkey is done and carved. I'm waiting on the Beef Tenderloin that's on the grill right now. Guest are going to arrive at 6:15 and my Sister is making Pomegranite Martini's (???). Personally, before I became a "non-practicing alcoholic", I always thought that the perfect martini came straight from an Absolut bottle:D :D (and at least a fifth at a minimum).

The Dowlings wish all of you a very Merry Christmas.

Can we just start a thread now titled "Who got the worst knife cut on Christmas morning, opening presents or blister wrap"?

well this will be my third christmas alone so you guys can bet i'll be doing some typing tonight....thx to all of you for the fantastic showing of knowledge to me in the last few months.....I went from not knowing the difference between 420j2 and H1 to being able to quote the contents of most steels.....merry christmas........paul

..to all of my friends and knifenuts!!!BTW turkey dinner and pot roast still cooking for family..what else to do but read Bladeforums and the ilk???time well spent.:) :D :) :D

Everyone here should realize that not everyone celebrates Christmas. This country is not a Christian state. So, no I don't find it the least bit odd.

what else is a single knife knut to do at Christmas? Hang around in the forums of course. Merry Christmas to all!

By the way, that must have been the number just in the Blade Discussion forum. If you click on the Bladeforums logo at the top left of the page and scroll down you'll see the total number at Bladeforums. Right now there are 73 in Blade Discussion and 455 total.

However, statistically, it is dominately christian. For those others though, Merry Christmahannukwanzakah.
