Is it ok to discuss these knife manufacturers on this website?

Sanrenmu
Enlan
Ganzo
Navy
Land
Inron
Kevin John
Wild Boar

Which knife makers are not allowed to be discussed on this website?

A quick search would answer this question.

Most of these have popped up in conversations before and have been discussed. They tend to lie in the grey area because while they do have some knives that are original a good most are either copies of knives or use patented mechanisms ie. the AXIS lock.

All the Kevin Johns I've seen have been blatant rip offs.

What is with your fascination with these? Even if you were buying on a budget there are plenty of original designs out there from reputable companies that will take care of you warranty wise.
Spyderco- Tenacious, Persistence, Ambitious, the entire Bryd line
Kershaw- They have been upping their involvement in this market recently and I feel its for the better. Way too many to name.
Ontario- Rat 1, Rat 2, Utilitac
ESEE- Avispa, Zancudo

I feel this has been mentioned before.

I'm curious what you can buy for your money in Chinese manufactured and shipped knives. Knife manufacturers in China do not have to follow US Labor Laws, Social Security, Disability, pollution laws like we do in the US. They'll work for 50-75% less than the hourly rate in the US. That means you may be able to get more knife for your dollar than the US, but many of the budget cost $20-100 knifes from Kershaw, Spyderco etc are made in China to keep the cost low. I am familiar with Kershaws, Spyderco, Ontario and own a few of them. I generally avoid cheap junk, but sometimes one model, like the Rat 1 stands out as a good deal, so I'm just scouting around for the best knife available for the lowest price.

Someone may someday make that same concession or compromise and you will be jobless. Remember this.

With 20-30 million illegal immigrants in this country currently, and the yearly 1 million legal immigrants that are allowed to enter this country every year, it's already happened to me. Every head of household is paying about $1,000 for illegal immigrants to live here.

Every knife you buy that is made in China, ie Kershaws and others employs people in foreign countries. There is nothing we can do about it. It's here to stay.

My focus is on reducing Government waste and abuse, not buying a cheap knife from China.

I just looked at my Ontario Rat 1 and it says "Tawain" on it. My Kershaw Cryo 2 says "China" on it. My rainbow Leek says "Made in USA" on it. There's nothing we can do. Global economy, cheap labor, container ships, shipping containers and cheapest prices are here to stay.

Buy what you like and post pictures when you do.
