Is it okay to post asking about the performance of a product listed on ebay?

I'm a bit confused about the "deal spotting" rules. I see a product listed on ebay (is it ok that I say "ebay"?) and I'd like to ask if anyone here has any experience with it. It looks to be a good price and made in the usa, but the quality is in question for me. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can ask about a product, just not link to it or say that its listed for $x on ebay or other sites that don't support BladeForums. Deal spotting by definition is giving info on a "deal" from a dealer that doesn't pay to advertise here, since by you saying that you are essentially giving them free advertising.

If you're interested in the product and want to post a reference, try to find the manufacturer website. You can always post from that. After all, it doesn't matter to us where you saw it, just that you want information on its quality.
