Is it possible I can get a guarantee that I won't get a 301 lemon?

I'd like to place an order for a 301 but want to be sure that the blades are centered and there isn't anything wrong with the knife they are sending me.
Is this possible or is it luck of the draw?

The current 301 is a three spring knife - all three blades nest in a parallel manner in the blade well - due to their thickness they really only fit one way - I don't think you could get an off centered Buck 301. Every one I have seen has had appropriate fit and finish - exactly what you would expect from a working knife. OH

Could always go to a local shop and check it out before you buy. At the larger stores you'll have many to select from. I have rarely gotten a Buck I would call a lemon.

Looks like they don't sell the yellow 301 anymore? I'm assuming the demand for the yellow was down?
I like the yellow but yellow or black looks good to me.
