Hey, all,
I just had a horrible thought!!!!
Is it possible to cheat on Busse specials by setting your clock back?!?
I don't know that much about e-mail system, so please forgive me if I seem a bit out of it. thanks.
 
I don't think so because Mr. Busse's clock would say the real time your email entered their server. You would have to try it: set you clock back 2 minutes, then email someone with the time you sent the email, and see if the two times are the same.

I just confused myself :confused: :confused:

Just experiment and play around until you get consistent results.

No, the timestamp on their emails would be from their system...not the sender.

yes it is, i send my post 5 minutes early and set my clock back by five minutes. it works like a charm! :cool:

Wouldn't do you any good to change your time stamp as we take them in the order in which they are received on this end. We've had some emails come in a day or two later that were stamped at the time of the special offer!!! :eek: . . . . poor bastids!

why is this even being asked? i think this concept kind of sucks. why would someone want to dupe a community like this?

Very true. The people here are some of the kindest I have ever "met". The Busse forum is really a great place.

It doesn't matter someone would break it. I just don't trust anyone anymore.
Even so called "respectable" CEOs, statesmen, lawyers, doctors are some of the most corrupt crooks around.
