Is it possible to cut Shapton Stones.

I was wondering if anyone has been able to cut Shapton Glass stones,from what I was told it can't be done because it's Tempered glass and it shatter's everytime.

The reason I'm asking this is because I would like to get some cut for my KME and read somewhere a while back that it is not possible to be done(I forget where I read it.)

I know someone said something about buying the Edge Pro Shapton's and cutting them as it would be cheaper.

Ken posted this on another forum... Evidently CKTG sells them for the KME.

I also have Shapton pro stones for the KME and a broader line of emulsions (and sprays, pastes and suspensions) of both CBN, polycrystalline diamond, monocrystalline diamond, boron carbide and even Aluminum oxide to use on your strops. Just FYI.
