Is it possible to get after market blades for the Leatherman mut?

So my brother has a leatherman mut. it is his pride and joy and he really likes using it but one of the things I have noticed is that it has really poor edge retention. This may be due to a poor heat treat on this blade or an overzealous machine sharpen removing the temper. Either way it is quite shocking. I want to do something to help him with this and was wondering if there was an aftermarket blade for this in a higher grade steel? My google-fu is deficient today and I can't seem to find this at all, hoping this is because i am looking in the wrong spot.

a compny called Texas tool crafter have all kinds of leatherman mods like damascus blades, 24k gold coated blades, duracoating, and steel upgrades like 154cm and S30V. i have a surge and a damascus blade replacement is a $70 i think. you can e-mail them about what you want if you cant find it on their store. thats what i had todo. http://www.txtoolcrafters.com/collections/browse-by-brand
