Is it possible to lube a sebbie without taking it apart?

I use a toothpick with the CRK grease. A small amount in the washer areas and on the ceramic ball dedent makes a noticible improvement.

Though I use the flourinated grease the CRK recommends, I would think that the viscosity of the lubricant would affect its ability to apply itself to all of the bearing area of the bushing. I will defer to Chris if he has any thoughts in this regard.

Temperature would also be a factor and heating (with a hair dryer perhaps) would probably be a good idea and then working the lube into the pivot by cycling the action while everything is still warm. The foregoing all assumes that the action is gunk free in the first place.

I have used many words to say, "No, the knife does not have to be disassembled to be lubed." But then again, there is lubing and there is lubing.
