Is it possible to mod a Leatherman Charge TTI blade (S30V) onto a Leatherman Wave?

I can't afford a Charge and the S30V blade is the only thing I want from the Charge. Just the main non-serrated blade.
 
If you mean taking a Charge blade and putting it into a Wave then it should be a direct drop in. All you need is the S30V blade. :thumbup:

Don't forget you need a security Torx as well. I cannot remember off hand which size. Its either a T6, T8, or T10. I can check for you if you really need me to. :thumbup:

Yeah you should be able to just drop a new one in once you get the blade and torx screws. I'm pretty sure you can find just the blade around somewhere.
 
Thanks guys, but what size torx bit does it need? And will anything go wrong with the blade after installation (wrong fit, that stuff)?
 
Easy and direct drop in. I have done it many times. You need the security torx t-10 size. You will also need two of them, they can be found at most auto part stores, as well as lowes. Nothing to special to install, just don't lose the washer than is on the blade. If you need help installing, shoot me a pm and I can help you out.

Keep a eye on EBAY. Besides that your only other option (that I can think of) would be to find one from someone with extra parts.
