Is it possible to move a thread?

Earler today I posted a thread, "Help with some Cattarauguses? (11709)," in General Knife Discussion. I replied twice to my initial post to ask about two other Cattarauguses. After getting quite a few reads and no responses, I searched around a bit, and found a number of Cattaraugus threads in Bernard Levine's Knife Collecting and Identification. My bad; should have searched first! So my question is: can a moderator move the entire thread to Levine's forum. Or is there a way for me to do it all at once, vs. just reposting all of it and the pics, and then can I go back and delete it from the original forum. If I must repost the whole thing, how do I delete the original? Thanx, Barry

You're all set now
Thanx, Rycen. The first reply, from afishhunter, in the Levine forum suggested I move it to Traditional Folders and Fixed blades. After searching for Cattaraugus and seeing all the knowledge in that forum I'm inclined to agree with him. Would it be too much to ask to move it again, to Traditionals? Last time, promise. Things have changed a bit since I was last posting in 2015....or I forgot a lot. But I think I'm finally learning my way around.

I also have a thread I think needs to be moved to Folding Knives Individuals
it is currently in Traditional slip joints
At the bottom left of each post is a black triangle with a white exclamation point in it. That is the "report post" button. Click it to report a post. If you want your thread moved, you can report the opening post in the thread. Use the resulting popup to ask that the thread be moved. Please be patient when doing so as there is not always a moderator on line.

Thanks
Pretty new here and the forum has different mechanisms than what I'm used to

No worries. We all recognize that some things about the software are not intuitive.
