Stopped by a pawn shop today looking for watches and noticed a Gerber in the knife case. Asked to see it as I couldn't tell if it was the auto, the manual or the cheap $60 Chinese made one.
Its Marked 154CM and I talked them down to $15 but I'm no expert, is it legitimate or a knockoff?

I have a Covert auto and a Covert assisted open. This pic does not look like either of them.

I have one like that. Seems legit to me. Question is: does yours have a SN at the bottom of the blade like mine does?

Btw photobucket sucks.

No. No SN and my Gerber has the "sword in the stone" logo above the "Gerber USA".
My serrations don't extend as far as yours either.

Google images shows them both ways though.
Pretty sure Gerber has been making this model since the 90's so theres no telling how many small changes they've made to this model over the years.

Interesting... Yours was made after 2005 because that's when they implemented that logo. I got mine around 2015 2016 as a Christmas present but I haven't the foggiest as to when it was actually made.

Still, I'm pretty sure yours is legit as much as mine.
