As it's supposed to be a user anytime when needed . . .
;)

Should I worry about the handle?

It'll be fine, unless for some reason the trunk of your car is on fire, in which case you have bigger problems on hand.

Santi,

By all means, Trunk it Dude.

Better yet put it in a 72 hour (three day) BugOut bag.

That's how my wife keeps her Basic number 5(in BuyBrown Kydex of course)

It's safe...as long as you don't live near any HOGS who might recognize you car and borrow the knife!

Sort of a "bug out" trunk, eh?

The only problem I see with it in the trunk is that it’s not real handy if you need it.

I always keep a good big knife in a sheath between the drivers seat and the gearbox hump in my truck. (handle up) it squeezes in there nicely..

Usually a Ratweiler or an NO-e.
Ian.

I always keep a knife between the seat and the transmission and another bigget knife [and an a x and a crowbar] in the trunk.
Theft is less of a problem in the trunk than in the cockpit.

THANK YOU! :)

Ok . . .
Basic 9 goes under seat.
Public Defender in the dashboard box.

:D

What's your license plate #? :D

Hi,
Good ideas on the storage in vehicle.I run a short cord thru the belt slot and add a small caribeneer clip to the cord. This way you can clip it to the seat adjustmnet bar and tuck under the seat.It is always right there when you need it and it takes seconds to get sheath and knife out or less if you just grab the knife.
Pete
