Is it spring where you live? I was begining to forget I live in Alaska. The temp has been in the upper 40s and most of our snow was gone and then yesterday, more snow.Oh well at least the days are getting longer .

All the signs are here:

Today was the first very warm day, about 75d. A few Daffodils have been blooming for since last week, but today they're really starting to burst. Today was the first day I rode the motorcycle without the jacket liner. Bears have been seen in town already.

The snow in the yard is finally gone, but the mountains here will probably have spots of snow until July.

Is that really a live cam? Or is it stuck on a still image from February?

This is the nearest webcam I could find. RedRiver is a ski resort about an hour west of here.

No kidding... Just got light snow fall here in Los Anchorage :grumpy:
Come onnnnnnnnnnn fishin'

Funny , I dread Spring almost as much as I dread summer. Summer here is living hell , I honestly cant understand why people love Summer so much for.
I live in the middle of a long , big valley (San Jaquin) we get the smog from San Francisco , on top of that several days in a row that top out over 100 with no breeze to speak of , it sucks ! The air quality here is horrid in the Summer months , then you have outrageous gas prices and electric bills to boot. The only saving graces about Summer is the chicks wearing less clothing and Summer means Fall , Winter and Football season is around the corner.
Anyways you folks can keep your Spring and Summer , give me rain , cold and fog anyday :D :D

I think you wanna trade places with one of those Alaskans! On the other hand, if you spend one summer in New York City, you might not mind your San Joaquin Valley so much

Well, the Pear-trees have bloomed, the Azelias have bloomed, the Dogwoods are in full bloom, there is a fine yellow coating of pollen on the hood of my car, allergy medicine and sunscreen are at the endcaps of every aisle in the drugstore, I have already cut grass (mowed the lawn) TWICE (and got sunburned the second time), I can hear the frogs when walking or driving past any creek or pond, the local church is having a fund-raiser carwash this Saturday, and I've already X-rayed eight motorcycle riders in the ER.

Yeah, I guess it's springtime.

Cheers,
Allen.
