i am a big fan of traditional 'CURVED' Barlows.
over years i've collected these older vintage curved 3.5'' Bulldog Brand Barlows made by a german cutlery named Olbertz in THE german knife city Solingen in the 1980s.

some days ago, after googling for old knife catalogs i found this page of a Belknap catalog with John Primble Curved Barlow Knives from 1930:

after a deeper research i found an Interview with waynorth waynorth Charlie Campagna and Rob Bixby (The ApostelP)

VERY nice assembly.... the stag barlow with the clip main is just "it".... to be hones, I've never seen a curved barlow. I think I prefer the "sowbelly" curve over the "swayback" curve on these knives.. somehow it looks more correct...

I’ve been saying this for years! 😁

for me it depends on the blade shape.
i realy like the Spear and Sheepsfoot Blade Version on a Swayback,
and i prefer the Clip Point Version on a Sowbelly Handle Version.
