Is it time for a stonewash finish?

So the competition finish is gone. Stonewash finish was created for exactly this reason to offer a good looking non coated finish that will keep the few dozen scratches hidden. AND the best part is that (I think) it's pretty easy to do.

Hey that is a GREAT idea...

One thing I don't especially like about the bead blast double cut is that it scratches with much use. Stonewashed might be better in that regard...

That sounds like a great idea! :) Out of the 5 I stripped my DSSF was the easiest. If they all stripped like that one I wouldn't even care about the CF thing.

Nah....people would keep sending them in complaining that the finish is too rough

Seriously, I'd love a stonewash option. I'd love to send my Assault Shaker to get stonewashed, that would be slicker than snot

I need to decide which hunk of INFI is going to get it. I will have to do a home made version, but hope the shop may one day offer it.

I just can't envision this... yet.
Isheldon is correct, re: stonewash on a folder.

I love stone washed blades. Not sure what it would cost Busse to get the tumbler as they would need a large industrial one. The small ones are not bad in price.

The Survive Knives GSO-10. I am sure there are others out there.

Here is mine that I stupidly got rid of.

I was waiting for someone to mention GSO 10. the stone wash finish is superb on that blade. If Busse decides to offer this finish - I would be all over that.
