is it to early to start.......

Not for me. I can't wait.

The Creek is the place to be. If you love machine guns and Busse knives you don't want to miss it.

April 8,9, and 10. Would be awesome if KAAK could show up. It has been too long bro.

Man it seems like a year since the last KC. I might have to go to Spring as well this year.

Never been there before but
I was thinking about driving down their with my son.
Is it nuts to try and get some shooting down there?
Would love to let my son have the chance at
shooting a machine gun.
2 things Im concerned about
with all the crowds,is it really safe at the range
is it a madhouse trying to rent a gun and get some time shooting
thanks

AFAIK, you have to arrange rental from a vendor in advance. I was going to suggest that you should ask over on their own forum, but it seems to be down.

Last Fall when I was there, I wasn't feeling well. Maybe this time I'll feel better and pickup a blade or two =) I didn't see any machine guns though... LOL.

so 29 hrs from queen creek and Tucson is another 2 hours south.
Hmmmm maybe ?

I've been looking forward to KC since the moment I left the spring show last year.

While I have never had time to actually do any shooting it seems to be fairly easy to rent range time. As far as safety goes I do not think that would be a problem as they seem to have plenty of range officers and over all Knob Creek runs a very tight ship when it comes to safety. Again, just an observation as I have not had a chance to ever get on a range personally.

Hope you decide to give it a shot. Would be great to see you.

fugawee,

You'll have no problem getting to shoot something. On Sat & Sun there will be MGN rental vendors on what's refered to as the lower range. You can walk up & rent almost any MGN you can think of. Will cost anywhere from $25 to $30 per mag for the more common MGN's (uzi, m16, mp5, etc.) to $100 for the rare exotic MGN's.

I've never had any issues with safety there & I've been going to KCR every year since 1995. My son started going with me in 1996 when he was 9 years old.

Make sure to bring headphones/earplugs & shooting glasses.

Well, as time gets closer, I may be able to catch a ride on Friday night and come back Sunday. Not sure if I'll have a job or funds to manage it, but it would be sweet. May see how much flights are. This would be awesome :D

I grew up in Kentucky and lived there most of my life. Now I'm all grown up and I like playing with grown up toys like Busse knives, and I live on the other side of the country-far away from all the good shows..........well this is a good thing for my bank account at least.
