I've heard rumors that the thickness of the Satin Jack has been changed from 1/4" to 3/16". Can anyone verify this? Are both CG and LE made of thinner stock?

Thanks for the FYI. I've had a 1/4" SJ CG for about almost two months now but would be real interested in trading it somehow for a 3/16" version. I wonder how many people have the 3/16" since the switch seems to be pretty recent.

Steeldriver,
I just got my SJ LE and it's 3/16th and I got a SJ variant off
of Ebay and it's 3/16th. I haven't heard about any CG SJ in
3/16th yet.;)

Jerry is on one of these thin is in kicks.

Seriously, INFI stock comes in .250" and provides bulldozer blade capabilities in that guage. The SJ has a slender aspect ratio, smaller handle and overall faster handling than its siblings. Accordingly, it, perhaps more than other models, would benefit from the thinner dimension. The SJ, of all the models, is the slicer even though it still has chopping ability.
