Cleaning out my closet and came across a Spyderco Civilian, plain edge carbon fiber handle, s/n #678.

It's never seen the light of day, just sits alone in a dark drawer.

Would you keep it or get rid of it?

What is a fair value?

I'm not going to get in to actual dollar value since it can vary and this isn't the best place for it, but the plan CF Civvies aren't common and, IMO, are a highlight piece for a collection. Suffice it to say that it would be valuable in either sale or trade if you chose to move it. If you search around the exchange you can see what past sales for the same knife have brought.

FYI....

Since you are new here I'm going to cut you some slack. It should be mentioned that you cannot sell your knife here without a paying membership. Even the suggestion that you may sell it is enough to get yourself an infraction for selling without a paying membership.

My best advice to you is to edit your post and simply ask the value.

That's why I stated "should". Was not trying to make a sale just looking opinions. Is that an infraction? Thanks for the advice.

The word "sale" should not even be in your BFC vocabulary until you go Gold. I edited your post so that it is acceptable.

Plain edge are even rarer still, aren't they?
1200 right handed CF Civilians, 600 each PE and SE, plus 300 left handed ones 150 each PE and SE. So, in this case, PE is not rarer.
