Is Jethro from the Beverly Hillbillies related to the Baers who owned Schrade?

I love trivia and was wondering if Max Baer Jr. (who played Jethro on the Beverly Hillbillies) was related to Albert or Henry Baer. I figured if he was, someone here could tell me.

Not directly, though Baer is not an uncommon name for people here of German descent. Max Baer (1909 –1959) , the renowned boxer and was "Jethro"'s father. Jacob Baer (1875–1938), was Max Sr.'s father.
