Yesterday I called the shop from Kenny Rowe because I need some custom sheath work.
A friendly gentleman (forgot his name...) answered the phone and he told me that Mr. Rowe is in hospital since one week (I don't mention anything else).
I truly hope he will be fine and have a good recovery.

Does anybody here knows about that?

If this thread should be inapropriate in any way please tell me.

Kenny is fine...fine as you can be after quadruple by-pass surgery.

He is still planning on attending the Blade show.

His son Cody will be handling some of the shop duties.

Obviously if you have a sheath due from Kenny your patience would be requested.

I certainly wish Kenny all the best for a quick and full recovery.

Cheers,

Roger

Wow! Didn't hear about that. Neat guy..., and of course we all send our best wishes! Thanks Les...

I'm glad to see that Kenny is going to be ok. I guess this is going to hold up a knife that I have coming from John Fitch, as it is off now getting a Kenny Rowe sheath. Oh well, they say patience is a virtue.

Hi All

I talked to Kenny on the phone this AM. He seems to be doing OK but will be at home for several more days.
His son will be in sometime this weekend and will be doing some of the work later on. (he is good so don't sweat it).
I'll keep checking in on Kenny and post any updates.

Pete

I'm very glad to hear he's OK, and sorry to hear that this happened. I've owned soem Rowe gun leather and the man is a true craftsman. Thoughts and Prayers to you Mr. Rowe!

"Kenny is doing good. He went home last Monday and is walking a quarter mile a day and slowly getting stronger but is still sore. Cody probably had the shop open beginning yesterday and will continue to do all the leatherwork they can so as not to get too far behind. They are planning to be at the BLADE Show. I'm sure Kenny will be at the shop as soon as he can sit around and point and direct and I'm sure will be doing everything he can as soon as possible."

This is an email I got from David Etchieson this morning.
I am glad he is doing alright and it is hard not to get close to the work and "point" when you are down. The road to recovery isn't as long as it used to be and I think that is because of the knowldge that the doctors have gained and the equipment used. Of that I am very glad.
