Im wondering because i can not find the exact model i want, and was wondering if i should wait for the next batch or did they stop production on the Elites?

No, they've transitioned all production to the Socom Delta from what I've seen/heard.

Pity. Although on paper I prefer the Delta, being as it's tip down and not aluminum handled, in real life I really like the Elite more. One of life's great mysteries to me.

I feel the same way. For me i just wish the Delta was a liner lock instead of frame lock. Just something about frame locks i dont like.

The subframe lock style and a traditional liner lock really aren't all that different.

Im just worried about hyper extending the lock. Just not something i want to worry about.

I owned a Microtech Whaleshark at one point, hyper-extending it wasn't really an issue as the G10 caught the titanium tab, preventing it from over-travel. However... the lock could be pushed all the way to the opposite side...Something that worries me about owning a Socom Delta...

Also, wonder if we can expect a Socom Delta auto? Would be interesting to see.

That is what i ment. Bad wording on my part. Under hard use your hand pushes on the frame lock and eventually it will be pushed all the way to the other side.

I have an all black plain edge clip point with the CF handle inserts I could part with. If you're interested I can email you some photos later this evening.
