Moose said he was going to do some drinking and then start some trouble.
I figured he'd be over here banning folks by now. Seems awfully quiet though.
Maybe Jeff was right. Maybe Moose has already been brainwashed by THE MAN. :eek:

I think he is trying to decide if Becker uses Krylon or Rustoleum as their blade coating.

Actually, I've enjoyed my new Becker BK2. The one I bought came with the brown Micarta Handles as well as the plastic ones. The Micarta feels great. The first thing I did was change the edge profile. I was able to do that with a small double cut Bastard file. Can't do that with an ESEE. Seems ESEE actually heat treats their blades. But, after splitting lots of Ash for fire starter, it did not get dull. The coating actually withstood the beating. I am quite impressed. I do think though, I could baton my 5 right through the BK2. If the 5 had not been invented, I'd definately carry the BK2. But, I'd have to have a custom sheath made for it. Stock sheath leaves something to be desired after being spoiled with the 5's sheath.

No one? My daughters Izula is starting to rust on the edges. Glad I got her an ESEE, now she has to know how to maintain a blade, to keep it in operation.:D

i've got a Reinhardt Kukri and a Brute.

ok, so the Brute is MIA, but it's around here somewhere. :p don't ask how the hell i lose a 15" knife in the house... it's gotta be in a box from the move... somewhere. :o
