Is my civilian real?

Hello, just got this civilian in a trade and love the knife. But the blade etching is different than any of my other seki spydercos and it has me a little worried. It has one liner and the boyle dent, but the fakes are getting nicer and nicer.

The 'G' in VG10 is so crisp and clean, is that new from Japan?

Because all of my 'G' looks like 8s.

It is relatively new that the G now looks like a G.
