Is my Endura 4 a fake?

So I just bought an Endura 4 on Ebay and was hoping someone can confirm whether or not its a fake. I just found out that the Civilian I bought about 6 months ago was a knockoff and now I'm a little paraniod. My Endura seems like a very good quality knife. My only concerns are the following. The Seki City and VG 10 stamps have a slight brownish tint to them. I have a Delica that has no color whatsoever on the stamps. The sticker label on the box is yellow. The knife is harder to open than my Delica but I'm thinking thats normal since its a larger knife. Any insight on the authenticity of this knife would be greatly appreciated. The link below has several pics.

Thanks!

If people are so worried about buying a fake, why not just buy from a reputable dealer? Sigh. The world may never know :foot:

I can answer that question for you. Because some people are on tight budgets but still want a certain brand/model of knife, so they buy the knife from the place where they get the best deal.

Yep.

Anyway if it's an actual sticker on your box then it might be fake...Spyderco doesn't use actual stickers on their boxes as far as I know

This thread over on the Spyderco board may help you too: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/796442-Spyderco-Fakes-amp-Knock-Offs-Info

Okay, so when you get a fake...how much of a good deal are you getting? Risking money when you are low on funds, sounds pretty stupid IMO.

Buy once, cry once.

I paid 52 bux for this knife. I would have gladly paid the extra 10 bux to eliminate the risk of getting a fake. I actually didn't know there were such convincing counterfeits. I've done a decent amount of research. Several things to look for in a fake Endura my knife doesn't have. The things I mentioned are the things I wasnt sure about. Also I honestly can't see the angled back jimping vs not angled back of the fakes.

Moved to Spyderco.

As far as I can remember Spyderco has always used stickers on their boxes.

As far as I can tell from your pictures the scales look okay but the blade markings and thumb ramp area I'm not so sure about.
