Hello,
I have the Old Timer Sharp Finger with :

SCHRADE
U.S.A. 152

engraved on the right side of the blade. Someone told me that this is a Chinese knife. Is it?

Thanx Much!

If I was you, I would ask your "someone",...what about USA don't you understand?
No, it is not an import.

Thanx Much! Didn't know if the Chinese were stamping USA on knives. Those silly kids!

There are U.S. made 152 sharpfinger blades of uncertain heat-treat coming back onto the market now with Chinese aftermarket handles in pakkawood. No original Schrade sharpfingers will have pakkawood handles.

Your knife blade was certainly made in the USA, in 2004 or earlier. Some knives of your model have been recently assembled overseas from leftover blades. Posting a picture of your knife would clear that up in a second.

Bob, USA is in Japan they use to make bearings. (very chep and narsty)
You live in the U.S.A. I was told to always look for it ... My Old Dad told me the ones with the ... were much better made.
That is why I have collected Schrade knives for 35 years. Ken.

As for a knife with a U.S.A blade! We need photos. Schrade made some knives with wooden handles, right up to the Close-down.
