Is my knife real or fake?

Coworker of mine wanted to trade me this knife for one of older Spydercos. Kept talking about how it retailed at $500 and it was super rare etc etc but after looking at pictures online it looks fake to me.

Looks legit to me. Model is a Lil LionSpy. I’m no Spyderco expert though.
If it's real it'll have to be the large lion spy but Ive never seen one with orange scales, also the markings are different from any other lionspy that I could find on the internet.

Was that sharpened by tying it to the back of a car and driving down the freeway?

And yeah I know she's really beat up but if it's legit I definitely still want to get my hands on it.

I don't see any legitimate reference online that Spyderco made a Lionspy with an orange handle. I do know that there are counterfeit Lionspy's with orange handles.

These are the only references I can find online regarding an orange handle Lionspy. This first pic is from a Russian site. They refer to it as a "replica". There's also a Ukranian site advertising orange handle Lionspy's, but I don't think those are any more legit than the ones on the Russian site.

This pic was originally from Aliexpress. It looks like they photoshopped the Spyderco name and logo out.
