This weekend I moved, and yesterday my friend called me to say that the local "ironwood" that I have been kept dry for the last 5 years was not taken out of his truck and has been rained on all weekend! I was wondering how much of an effect re-drying will have on the wood. It doesn't have much figure but it excels for long handled implements.
I plan on trying to re dry it in the basement again anyways, thanks for any responses.
