Yes. Frosted maple bacon cookies. Somewhere out there is a closet hog, who was unwittingly hired by my favorite chocolate chip cookie maker ever, and now this was on the shelf. I ate most of it before I realized I should share the bacon love/hate. Next you hogs will be messing with my life cereal :grumpy:

Why did I open this thread?! Haven't finished writing this and already have a cookie in my mouth.

There is a donut shop nearby that does fresh maple bars with bacon on top. They are amazing to say the least.

My Son gets these at a bakery near him in Seattle. He's stationed at Ft. Lewis, and this is just another reason to go visit him!

Okay I need to go to that donut store. That's a huge slice of bacon, we get half of that!!! I'm going to file a complaint....:thumbdn:

A friend of mine where he is executive chef makes a caramel corn with bacon. No one is going after the clumps with nuts the bacon rules.

Those look good, I may have to make some cookies tomorrow

Cheers!

Made cookies with bacon lard rather than vegetable shortening. Much healthier and tastier.

If you ever have opportunity to go to Champaign-Urbana, stop by ArtMart. That's where these are from.
