Is one knife a must have for you?

Just curious to hear if any of you have a knife you can't do without. If you lose a certain knife, does it have to be replaced? I have a number of modern single blade folders. And an assortment of fixed blade knives. I tend to carry different modern folders and fixed blades, depending on my mood and activity. But I constantly carry a Victorinox Small Tinker. And when it is lost, I have to get another. In fact I have a spare in the desk now. Do any of you feel the same way about any knife of any style? One you have found to be so handy that you feel handicapped without it.

For me, it's probably my keychain SAK. I carried a Vic Classic for years before I discovered the Rambler. I recently picked up a Leatherman Squirt PS4 to try it out (even got a new black Fenix E01 to match) but I haven't quite worked myself up to doing the swap. I think I'd miss the little plastic pick and tweezers my Rambler offers...

If I lose any of my knives I wouldn't lose any sleep. I don't go overboard in price with any folding knife at the moment so if I lost one, I would just pick another that's similar. My leatherman is a different story. I would have to buy another one immediately.

I would be sad if I lost any knife, but I really just need *a* knife...

If I lost (all) my Spyderco Military(s) I'd purchase another asap!

It's the one folder in my accumulation that has truly stood the test of time (thus far).
