Is Photobucket Upsellings its Upgrades?

I'm noticing a rash of photobucket blocked photos and Upgrade required due to excess bandwidth across several users. I've been warned by e-mail today that I'm approaching my monthly allocated bandwidth of 10gb on Nov 5 when I hardly even posted any pictures up yet.

I have a sneaky feeling photobucket is doing the hardsell on its upsell. I know the service is the service and you get what you pay for. I'm just not really convinced they are being fully honest with their random warning, unless there is some kind of BF robot downloading pics like crazy.

Anyone else getting this vibe also? I don't mind paying for service, but I have a feeling I'm getting the run-around. This just might drive me to another service.

They just very recently changed their bandwidth allotments for free accounts from 25Gb/month to 10Gb.

I'm still a bit flabbergasted then. If I've never hit 25 GB when I've been super active at posting, how do I hit 7Gb in 5 d (Nov.) when I haven't posted hardly anything and I'm not seeing my old threads raise from the dead. I mean its possible, but BF is about the only place I ever post pics....
